Overview

In Real Estate, marketing is key, especially in this economy. TriggerMarketing, a property marketing product needed to be a simple and useful tool for real estate agents to manage and market their properties. The old dashboard displayed irrelevant data and metrics and overall didn't satisfy business and user needs. The goal was to reexamine user needs and create a tool that was functional and necessary for the user to complete their goals.

Approach: User Research

We conducted user interviews, created a user persona, and mapped out the user journey to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement. We also leaned heavily on our Customer Support team to help us analyze user behavior and gather feedback from users who contact them for help.

Approach: Functional Design

We wanted the tool to help users accomplish their needs and goals. With the newly defined goals in mind, we wireframed the new page to prioritize key user actions such as Adding a Property and Starting an Order. We added search, filters, and different views to ensure users could manage their properties effortlessly. It made sense to call this new page "Properties" instead of "Dashboard" since the main goal of this page was to manage and market properties. We only included data and metrics that users found useful in a easy to understand snapshot overview.

Approach: User-Oriented Interface

We wanted each product in QuantumDigital to feel consistent to enhance brand recognition, so we updated it to align with the current design system. When designing the new page, we wanted to visually highlight the properties and the CTAs that help fast-track users to where they want to go.

We used a card-based design for the properties to display the property image prominently and content in a visually appealing way. Each card also serves as an entry way to more information and details of the property. This interface allows the user to access the content that they are interested in and empowers the user to engage in the way they want to.

We also gave the user the option to view the properties in a list view where they are able to see a larger number of properties on the screen at once. The list view is good for users that have a significant number of properties and want to efficiently scan and sort by specific information.
